One dark night in the 1980s at water's edge, a musical group encounters mermaid sisters Silver and Golden, attracted by their unearthly singing. After being assured that they won't be eaten, the band recruits the winsome sirens to join them at a neon-lit Warsaw dance club, where they become popular performers. When Silver becomes romantically entangled with a handsome blonde bassist, the more cunning Golden, who cannot escape her bloodthirsty nature, worries that her sister's relationship will doom their shared dream of swimming to a new life in America. Complete with original disco-tastic cabaret performances, this fairy-tale/horror/musical mash-up is like nothing you’ve ever seen.
