Title: Friends, Folx, and Good Grief
We are excited to offer some new series to our web program including "Sugar Highs" where young men turn to a gay-for-pay lifestyle, "City Folx" on the search for the perfect roommate, "Good Grief” finds humor in death and "Just Friends" ponders life if you and your BFF were more than that.
Program includes (subject to change):
CITY FOLX deals with a lot of roommate and landlord problems in San Francisco - it shows how funny it can be with our two Drag Kings are on the pursuit for their next roommate. Creator Rae Dawn is scheduled to attend.
JUST FRIENDS - Best friends start to realize they might have feelings for each other - awkward? clarity? complicated? You decide when watching this endearing show.
GOOD GRIEF - you found it! Yes - this title is tough to google to find this series as it's used in other shows and movies and is a common expression. But you will be glad we found it to share with you a story of a truly odd couple developing a relationship at a bereavement support group.
SUGAR HIGHS - Popular movie director Thom Fitzgerald ("Cloudburst" and "Stage Mother") brings his talents to this web series about mostly straight friends that turn gay-for-pay as it's easier to make the rent this way than doing handyman work or bartending.
A BEAUTIFUL CRUEL THING - enters its second season with the state of the leads relationship going from sweet to bittersweet. The love story that started in the first season travels to Europe in season two, offering beauty among heartbreak. An instant classic from HERE TV.
TV THERAPY - funny man Terry Ray, who has had many shows in our program, offers his riotous "TV Therapy " where his psychiatrist character tries to be patient with patients who still believe they are the TV characters they portrayed. This time around he's dealing with adult Tabitha from "Bewitched" - can she put a spell on him? Terry Ray will join us the second weekend.
