Beverly Johnson, IN VOGUE at Palm Springs Cultural Center

Beverly Johnson, IN VOGUE

120 mins | Rated TBC

Palm Springs Women in Film and Television (PSWIFT) is partnering with The Palm Springs Cultural Center to present the World Premiere of Supermodel Beverly Johnson in her one woman show,“Beverly Johnson, IN VOGUE.”

Co-written by Johnson and Joshua Ravetch, "Beverly Johnson, IN VOGUE" tells Johnson's story beginning with her groundbreaking photo on the cover of Vogue Magazine. This empowering live performance will make its World Premiere at the Palm Springs Cultural Center on April 14th at 6pm.

There will be a limited number VIP tickets, at $100 pp, that includes a Meet & Greet with the Supermodel, following the show.

“We’re proud to be partnering with the Palm Springs Cultural Center to bring this amazing story about a woman who graced over 500 magazine covers and remains one of the most iconic figures in the world of fashion and modeling,” said past President of Palm Springs Women in Film & Television, Kim Waltrip.

“Her life took an unexpected turn when she broke her silence, went public, and revealed that she, too, was drugged by Bill Cosby,” said Josh Ravetch, director of the show. That disclosure became part of the key momentum that, in-part, helped to launch the #MeToo movement.

"This is an important program," Michael C. Green, Executive Director of the Palm Springs Cultural Center added. We are honored to be a part of it."
