The Goddess Of Fortune at Palm Springs Cultural Center

The Goddess Of Fortune

120 mins | Rated TBC

Lot Opens 4:30 pm Film Screens 6:00 pm

THE GODDESS OF FORTUNE
A poignant story about family and love in all its forms, shot in stunning Italian locations, The Goddess of Fortune is the highly anticipated new film from award-winning director Ferzan Ozpetek (Naples in Veils, IFF 2018, Facing Windows IFF18).
Arturo (versatile star Stefano Accorsi, The Champion IFF19) and Alessandro (Edoardo Leo, Just Believe IFF19) have been together for over 15 years. Yet, despite their feelings for one another, their relationship is in crisis.

Out of the blue, the couple’s longtime friend Annamaria (Jasmine Trinca, The Son’s Room, 2001) asks them to take care of her two young children for a few days, when she is admitted to hospital.
Faced with a new level of responsibility as they are thrown into the roles of ‘parents’ at the worst possible time in their relationship, the addition of the children to their lives transforms their daily routine. As their world is turned upside down, the relationship between Arturo and Alessandro reaches a point of no return.

Featuring an ensemble cast of Italy’s finest acting talent, The Goddess of Fortune is a touching dramatic comedy about how love changes over time.
