Special Guests

Dec 12: Jim Ullo

Sometimes it is a date and time that connect people for life. In Jim’s case, his father Jim Sr., shared the same birthday as Frank Sinatra, and each year he and Frank would get together on their birthdays to celebrate and reminisce. After Jim’s dad worked for Frank for many years, and lived on his estate in Los Angeles, Frank proposed that they open a restaurant together. They opened La Dolce Vita in Beverly Hills which became a major watering hole for the stars. As a teenager Jim worked as a valet there and met everyone. Frank called him “Junior Baby” and he had some wild experiences which he will share on his dad’s and Frank’s birthday.
